King Charles II; Male Make-up, Wigs and a New Fashion
I've been researching King Charles II for one of my modules at University. The report I’ve come up with consists of an analysis of the clothing worn around the period and what Charles II himself wore, the influences behind the fashion trends. As the threat civil war loamed throughout the known world King Charles II was a patron of the Arts, Wigs and Male Make-up restoring them to the English public, throughout a very unsettled period of history.
