Hair, makeup and beauty rituals where crutial within Ancient Egyptian society. All hair would be shaven replaced by ellaborate wigs, in braided styles influenced from surrounding societies such as Africa. Some claims of gold wigs have even been made. Perfumed cones seen here on the tops of the wigs would ommit a sweet smell drenching the hair in natural perfumed oils.
